Greg Barclay - Ministering in Calgary
I grew up believing in God but living like hell. I dropped out of school in Grade 10 and spent my time working and partying. I then joined the army for 3 years. Upon my release, my life was nothing but partying and drinking again. I met a man who witnessed to me about Jesus, I felt convicted about my sin and prayed the sinner’s prayer. However, soon after, I went back to my old ways. Then three years later another Christian friend suggested I start going to church. I rededicated my life to the Lord, got baptized and I got set free from a fear of dying soon as I confessed my sins to Jesus. My life changed drastically and the Lord planted a desire in my heart to serve him in ministry. I served Him in many ways but finally decided to take the plunge and we moved to Three Hills, AB to attend Prairie Bible Institute. I met with Chip Welton from OAC Ministries in Calgary and started doing street evangelism with him and knew then that this is what God has called me to do. I have worked as an auto mechanic for many years and have been serving part-time with OAC since 2005. My wife Caroline is a true blessing from the Lord and she loves to reach people for Christ too. We feel strongly to be in full time ministry with OAC and so as of November 1, 2017, we have started on deputation to raise our prayer and financial support team. We want to dedicate our lives full time to serving the Lord by telling others how to get to Heaven!
